Obtaining M. Com. M. Com. in Finance from the University of Dhaka, MBA (with Commonwealth Scholarship) from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, and PhD (with SSF Scholarship) in Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece

Mohammad Sadiqul Islam has been teaching in the University of Dhaka for about 35 years. Presently he is a professor in the Department of Finance, University of Dhaka. He obtained M.Com in Finance from the University of Dhaka, MBA from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, and PhD in Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. He is working as the Supervisor of a number of students in PhD, DBA and M. Phil. programs. He also worked as PhD thesis examiner of the Aligarh Muslim University of India and the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He was the Executive Editor of the Journal of Finance and Banking. He served in the editorial board of a number of journals. He worked as an expert member for curriculum development in the University of Dhaka, University of Chittagong, United International University and National University. He is the Chair of Program Self-Assessment Committee for ensuring institutional quality assurance of the academic programs of the Department of Finance, University of Dhaka. He was the team leader for evaluating the institutional quality assurance of the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology. He has been serving as a member of academic council of a number of institutions. He organized a number of international conferences. He presented research papers and participated in a number of conferences held in Bangladesh, Australia, USA, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Thailand and India. He organized a number of training programs under the University of Dhaka. He is a Qualified Cost and Management Accountant and a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh. He is a Director of the Center for Corporate Governance and Finance Studies, University of Dhaka and life member of the Finance Alumni Association, University of Dhaka. He authored a number of research monographs, research articles, working papers and cases. He was awarded Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship for pursuing MBA program and SSF Scholarship for pursuing PhD program in Greece.

Mr. S A Mallick is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). After completing his chartered accountancy article ship from Rahman & Rahman Huq, a member firm of KPMG, he started his working life as a valued executive in Karnaphuli Fertilizer Company (KAFCO) Ltd. which is the largest international joint venture in Bangladesh. Having served as a decisive member in various key positions in KAFCO for 14 years, he gained hands-on experience that set the stage for him to move up the ladder and hold leading positions within the Company. Through gaining this lasting experience after 14 long years, he joined New Zealand Dairy Products Bangladesh Limited, where he has been running the company as the Managing Director since the last 19 years. In his early days as a student, Mr. Mallick also earned lasting praises for his glorious achievements of earning a professional MBA degree from the London School of Technology & Research and completing his M. Com in Accounting from University of Rajshahi. Apart from this, Mr. Mallick is member of different sub-committees of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (MCCI), Bangladesh Employers Federation (BEF) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He is the current president of Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh (IPAB), Rotary Club of Dhanmondi, Dhaka & Rajshahi University Accounting Alumni Association (RUAAA). </div>

Mr. Akhter Matin Chaudhury FCA, FCS, is a seasoned professional with a career spanning over 50 years, contributing extensively to the financial and corporate sectors in Bangladesh and abroad. 

Mr. Akhter Matin Chaudhury FCA, FCS, is a seasoned professional with a career spanning over 50 years, contributing extensively to the financial and corporate sectors in Bangladesh and abroad. Born on February 2, 1951, in Dhaka, he graduated with a major in Economics in 1971 from the University of Karachi and began his professional journey with Rowland Neville & Co., London, UK, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. He holds memberships in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) becoming a Fellow Member of all three. Currently a Partner at MABS & J Partners, Mr. Chaudhury has held leadership roles such as Chairman and Managing Director of Nuvista Pharma Limited (2006–2018), Managing Director of Organon (Bangladesh) Limited and Director at BOC Bangladesh Limited. His international experience includes executive and managerial roles in the UK from 1976 to 1986, notably as Executive Director of Zylo Management Ltd. Mr. Chaudhury’s extensive board experience includes his current role as Independent Director at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, along with previous appointments as Independent Director at United Commercial Bank Ltd. (Chairman, Audit Committee) and UCB Fintech Ltd. (Chairman, Executive Committee).
