Major General Ibne Fazal Shayekhuzzaman, BSP (BAR), SGP, afwc, psc has completed 36 years of colourful service in Bangladesh Army and now enjoying the leave preparatory to retirement (LPR) since 31 December 2022. Maj Gen Shayekh has a colourful mix of services in the Armed Forces. He served as Engineer in Chief of the Bangladesh Armed Forces for long three years. He was one of the directors of the Bangladesh Biman Board of Directors. He was also the founding director of the National Telecommunication Monitoring Centre (NTMC) for long three years. The General participated in the first Gulf War back in 1990 – 91 in Saudi Arabia. He also served in Sierra Leone and South Sudan for two years in UN deployment. He is a graduate of Chattogram University and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). The general also completed two master’s degree from National University, Bangladesh. Maj Gen Shayekh actively participated in the Rana Plaza rescue operation and voluntarily donated blood 62 times since 1994. He has a keen interest in cognitive and leadership development. Connecting people and building relationships is his passion.

S.M. Shoyeb Hossain Nobel has been appointed as the Additional Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. (WHIPLC.) on May 07, 2023. Mr. Nobel is a seasoned professional with vast knowledge of Trade Finance, Foreign Investment, Supply Chain Management, TAX, VAT, Customs and Regulatory Policies. He has been serving the Walton family for more than 21 years from early days of its emergence. Before joining Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. he had successfully played various roles in different management position as well as Chief Executive Officer of R. B. Group of Companies Ltd., which was the mother company of Walton brand involving trading business of electronic and electrical appliances before establishment of WHIPLC. the first homegrown industry in Electrical & Electronics (E&E) sector. He had also actively performed the role of the Advisor of Finance and Foreign Currency Management Committee of WHIPLC. During the post pandemic situation and global economic instability, Walton showed its ultimate resilience in the FY 2022-23 so far under his bold and visionary leadership. With the direction and supervision of the Board, Mr. Nobel and his team have continued their efforts to bring financial stability and sustainable growth of the Company. Mr. Nobel has completed his Graduation in 1998 & post-graduation in 1999. He had attended various professional trainings, seminars and workshops in both home and abroad. Besides, he has extensive leadership and administrative skills to drive a winning team with proven record. He is open minded and positive to persuade his teams to deliver astonishing outcomes through hard work and efficiency. Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam Sarker has been appointed Additional Managing Director at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.

With a vast knowledge of organizational management, business development and administrative planning and strategy, Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam Sarker has been positioned as Additional Managing Director at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. He is now serving a pivotal role as the Head of the company’s Foreign Trade Monitoring Division. Mr. Sarker started his career at Walton as a Manager of Walton Plaza in 2006. He was promoted as Executive Director in 2010 and also served as the head of its Purchase Department. In his long tenure of the journey with Walton, Mr. Sarker made tremendous successes in serving the organization. Prior to joining Walton, his career was marked with over two decades of experience as a successful banker. After completing his post-graduation, Mr. Sarker joined Grameen Bank as Senior Officer in 1989. He was conferred with the ‘Best Manager Award’ all over the Bangladesh in 1994 for his excellent expertise in the Banking sector. After serving over a decade, he left Grameen Bank as Principal Officer in April 2000, then he joined Karmasangsthan Bank as Principal Officer in May, 2000. He continued his service at the Bank till March, 2006 and then resigned to join Walton Group. From his very boyhood, Mr. Sarker was an athlete. As a result, he participated in sports competitions and won many prizes in school and college-level sports competitions. In 1985, he achieved Champion Trophy for Athletics for Inter-Hall Sports Competition during his Bachelor's Degree. Having a charming personality, Mr. Sarker always wins the hearts of all those who would come across him. Having such a flexible mindset, he is very punctual and maintains a strict time schedule.

With over a decade of experience in consumer E&E sales, she is a specialist at door-knocking, increasing product sales with innovative ideas, and uncapping commissions by identifying potential blank sales points. Walton has become revered throughout the country for her effective and efficient decision-making. Walton's sales team is now widely celebrated as the best in the country due to her unparalleled leadership. As the Additional Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, she is in charge of directing the organization's corporate network and developing sales strategies to drive continuous business growth.She previously worked for Walton as Executive Director and Chief Marketing Coordinator.Ms. Eva Rezwana made her debut at Walton in 2010 as an Assistant Director after graduating from a private university with a degree in Business Administration. Throughout her lengthy tenure with Walton, she has demonstrated exceptional expansion of business operations across the country.She increased the number of Walton Plazas (the company's own sales outlets) to around 400 from only 120 across the country. She also took the initiative to dramatically increase the number of distributors. Ms. Eva Rezwana was praised with numerous awards in recognition of her hard work, patience, dedication, and enthusiasm in dealing with sales challenges, including the Best Performance Award-2018, Sales Emperor Award-2019 and 2020, Grand Achievement Award-2019, and many more.

Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir began his career as a Coordinator in Joutha Udyog after graduating from Jahangirnagar University

Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir started his career as a Coordinator in Joutha Udyog after completion of B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc in Economics, Jahangirnagar University. Later in 2003, he joined in Walton and has played various roles including Deputy Director, Director, Executive Director and Head of Marketing & Communication Department. In January 02, 2021 Mr. Kabir was promoted as Deputy Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. Being a member of ManCom, Mr. Kabir is relentlessly working hard for materializing Walton's Mission & Vision. Presently, he is also the Chairman of CSR Operation Committee, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. In his long tenure in Walton, Mr. Kabir has successfully managed all kinds of public relation, media, branding and marketing departments as the Departmental Head. He carried out extraordinary tasks like dropping leaflets of Walton products’ advertisement and Ramadan Schedule in 59 districts over the country in 2005 which uplifted Walton as a reliable E&E Brand in the market. Mr. Kabir has played the pioneering role in opening of more than 1200 Walton Exclusive Distributor Showrooms & Walton Plaza and 200+ Marcel Exclusive Distributor Showrooms with the aim of greater business expansion. He has always been a steerer for managing trade fairs locally and internationally participated by Walton including the DITF, CITF, SITF, IPO and Canton, China, etc. Notably, Walton has grabbed more than 100 Awards including the first position in the DITF alongside being the highest VAT Payer. Mr. Kabir has conducted training on ‘Disaster Management & Preparedness’ as ToT (Training of Trainers). He also managed various trainings on Microfinance, Water Supply & Sanitation, Arsenic Mitigation & Water Supply, Social Afforestation, Non-formal Education Programs etc. Mr. Kabir is working as Guest Speaker in different Universities/ Organizations. Being an athlete from his school days, he was awarded various prizes for his extraordinary performances and was a former football player in different Football Leagues in Bangladesh. It is to be noted that Mr. Kabir was the 6 times Champion in athletics, Jahangirnagar Univerity. He has been honored with the lifetime membership of Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd. & Mirpur City Club. Mohammad Yousuf Ali is such an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in both disciplines. He is now putting his footprint even deeper to accelerate company’s growth and prosperity like he has been doing since 2006 from the date of group joining. During these 17 years along with other important roles, Mr. Yousuf has served the organization as head of Production Management and Head of Project Management and System Development. Mohammad Yousuf Ali started his career as a site engineer and keep on growing his skillset and continuously evolved himself so that he can always stay one step ahead. After completing his Diploma in Civil Engineering from Dhaka Polytechnic, he worked in Golam Mostafa Ltd and MBA Consortium as a site engineer from 1994 to 1997. where his area of expertise was supervision and quality control of projects like ABC Sherpur Rural Eye Clinic and Rehabilitation Center and Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge. He then served for The Designers Collaborative Ltd. as a sub-assistant engineer from 1998 to 2003. During this long tenure, Mr. Yousuf successfully implemented his skills of preparation of estimates (BOQ), supervision and quality control in various projects like ABC Sherpur Rural Eye Clinic and Rehabilitation Center and Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge. Ismail Hossain and Mrs. Sara Khatun, Mr. Yousuf passed his childhood in Dhulbari, Tangail. He developed his excellent interpersonal skills like communication, active listening, problem solving, emotional intelligence and teamwork from his early days of boyhood. His ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor individuals has consistently translated into high-performing teams and exceptional project outcomes. Rafiqul Islam, FCS is a Chartered Secretary professional having more than 20 years’ rich and varied exposures in business and Corporate Management with numbers of Public Listed Companies (Non-Banking Financial Institutions, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing Companies) both home and abroad. Before joining with Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. Mr. Islam worked as Head of Corporate Affairs and Company Secretary with The ACME Laboratories Limited. Besides, he also worked at LankaBangla Finance Limited, Pancam (Thailand) Co. Limited and International Leasing and Financial Services Limited in various capacities. At present, Mr. Islam is working as Senior Executive Director & Company Secretary of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. As a highly competent Company Secretary, he is responsible for ensuring Company’s statutory, listing and legal compliances as per relevant laws of the land as well as responsible for maintaining high standards of Corporate Governance. Mr. Islam is acting as a point of communication between the Board of Directors and Company’s shareholders and Management. He ensures that Board procedures are followed and regularly reviewed and provides updated information to the Chairman and the Directors on their responsibilities under various laws. Apart from his diverse role as Company Secretary, Mr. Islam is also Member Secretary of the Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC), Risk Management Committee and Board CSR Committee of the Company. Mr. Islam is skilled in handling of IPO both under Book Building Method and Fixed Price Method including Rights Issue, AGM and EGM.
